  • Book of the Month: The Ruby Circle, the final installment in the “Bloodlines”-series, was one book I had waited for since I finished the previous book. And it definitely delivered. I do think that book 4 and 5 in the series were a bit better, but it was definitely 5-star worthy.
  • Worst of the Month: 666 Park Avenue, mainly because of that I didn’t connect with the characters and because of that the storyline was spoiled by the summary… so yeah, not perfectly delivered there.
  • Surprise of the Month: Fifty Shades of Grey. I had probably listened a bit too much to the teenagers on Twitter talking about how romantic Christian Grey was and because of that I knew what the book was about I couldn’t see how I could ever like it. But it was surprisingly deep, well-written and you definitely needed to see beyond the sexual situations to understand it.
  • Disappointment of the Month: Allegiant. People kept saying that it was the best in the series but I actually didn’t see why. It was good – don’t get me wrong – but it wasn’t as good as Divergent or Insurgent.
